Pedrotti Grain Dryers are extremely versatile machines, fully self-contained. They need not any outer mechanical equipment, and any building works. They also operate with the subsequent batches system and continuous recirculation of the crop, a system which ensures a perfect uniformity of the crop at the end of drying.
Variety of Closed vane impeller pumps available depending on application. Hi-chrome cast iron highly recommended to maximize pump life when dredging abrasive materials.
US Tier 3 industrial/ Marine and US Tier 4/ EU Stage V Diesel engines available, both with heavy-duty marine transmissions and power take-offs utilized to transmit power from engine to dredge pump.
A rack and pinion spud drive eliminates the use of cable to lift and lower the spuds, providing positive force in both upward and downward directions. An optional tail winch can be provided to pivot and anchor the rear of the dredge.
Additionally, heavy-duty swing winches are standard to provide plenty of pulling power while dredging in tough conditions.
Equipped with hydraulic piston pumps to provide ample flow to all hydraulic components without starvation. Load sense and pressure compensation technology are used to optimize efficiency and reduce power draw. All continuously operated hydraulic functions are equipped with variable speed so user can optimize operating speeds. Enhanced filtration is used to extend life of all hydraulic components.

The Basic range represents the first step in getting to know the wide range of Pedrotti dryer models. It is the lowest of the range as far as the loading capacity, and the daily output of each model included in the range is concerned. The BASIC models are the right choice for modern farms that intend to dry their products internally, thus allowing for direct control of the final quality obtained.
Each model of dryer has reduced dimensions, is easy to move during the drying season and at the end of it can be easily stored in an adequate place. The maximum daily output (24 hours) in the Basic range is about 60 tons; such figure can obviously vary according to the kind and conditions of products to dry.
This said, apart from their dimensions, there is no other difference between the Basic range and bigger models with which they share the same mechanical soundness and reliability, the maximum energy efficiency and the outstanding durability that are the hallmarks of the Pedrotti brand.
